Network overview
This is a picture of the PC network at home. The hardware is spread between the livingroom and a desk in the attic and a spare room.
It comprises PC and networked hometheatre equipment.

4 ethernet cables are used to connect the 4 rooms with each other. The 4 switches are connected in a ring topology. Vlan seperation ensures all cables are utilized fully and no loops occur.
